From an application process of over 900 athletes each year, the Mideast Team Elite is comprised of some of the best male and female athletes in the Mideast Region (Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan). Here's the 2010 team....

Mideast Team Elite represents the finest athletes and individuals from the five states, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky and Michigan, with one goal; reaching the upper echelon of the multi-sport community not only as individual athletes, but as a team. Mideast Team Elite is not just focused on winning races, but giving back to the sport that gives us so much, working in conjunction with our local, Regional and National communities to spread the word about the sport, healthy lifestyles, and the true meaning of a team. We are dedicated to our personal growth, team growth and exposure, and the growth of the sport we love.

• Adrienne Saeger places 1st in Age Group and 3rd overall woman in Rev3 Triathlon.
• Guy Petruzzelli and Greg Elsnic place 1, 2 in Age group (4th and 8th Overall) at Tinhorse Duathlon.
  
• Chris Vincent places 1st Female masters and 5th Overall female at Hawk Island Triathlon.
• Abby Guerink places 2nd Female (Olympic Distance) and Matt West 1st overall (Sprint Distance) in the Seahorse Triathlon.
• Scott Myers places 2nd (Cat4) and Andrea Myers places 3rd (Cat4) in Wilk to Wilk Bike Race.
• Scott Horn places 11th Overall and 2nd Age Group at the Racing for Recovery 1/2 IM Triathlon.
• Mideast Team Elite shows well at the Rockman 1/2 IM with Gavin Nunns placing 25th overall and 6th Age Group, Gary Geiger placing 1st Age Group, and MJ Slikas 6th in her Age Group.
• Gavin Nunns, Scott and Andrea Myers and Colin Riley show well at the TTT triathlon. Results are to follow.
• Adrienne Saeger places 3rd in her Age Group at the Madison 1/2 Marathon.
• Greg Resnic is showing well in NYC, and he will update us on his stellar performances in the Big Apple.
• Chris Vincent takes 1st in Age Group at the Bayshore 1/2 Marathon.
• Tony White, Rich Swor, Jason Smith, Greg Howard and MJ Slikas race strongly at Memphis in May Triathlon.
• Gary Geiger places 6th in Age Group at IM Florida 70.3. Steve Ratchford looks great in his 70.3 debut as well.
• Mike Hermanson wins Overall title at the Taylorsville 1/2 Ironman Triathlon with a excellent time of 4:23, giving him an 8 minute victory over 2nd place.
• Scott Horns wins overall title at the Maumee Valley Adventure Triathlon. Congrats!
  
• Mideast Team Elite has great showing at the Flying Pig Half Marathon. Team members Beth Atnip, Tony White, Colin Riley and Lesley Kruzel ran well. In a field of 8,372 runners, Tony led the team with a 7th overall placing, and Coiln came in 15th, placing 3rd in his age group.
  
• Chris Vincent wins female overall at Playmaker's Race Series 5K.
